Braemor (The Big Hill) is a modern, Scottish Tourist Board 4 Star Bed and Breakfast accommodation. The home features three perfectly designed complementary guest bedrooms. We have two double en-suite bedrooms and one twin en suite bedroom. Braemor is located above Braeside in the village of Arrochar, the property and the large private gardens have exquisite, unrestricted panoramic views of Loch Long and the 'Arrochar Alps' - including the world famous Cobbler (Ben Arthur).
Braemor offers a welcoming quiet retreat for our guests, the family home is situated in its own large woodland garden and situated in an enviable elevated position away from the noise of the busy A83 (the main road through the village). Braemor offers ample parking space and a large secure garage for cycles and sports equipment. There are also laundry facilities with indoor and outdoor drying areas.
All rooms have individual thermostatically controlled radiators, decorated in modern design and include the following :-

All en-suites are tastefully decorated with tiled walls and floors and have a section of complimentary toiletries. The guest lounge has a comfortable seating area with various reference books and tourist information. There are games and cards for guests’ use and there is free wireless internet access. Enjoy a complementary malt whiskey and plan your next days itinerary.
For breakfast enjoy a comprehensive breakfast menu at your own table. We offer a full Scottish breakfast. Loch Fyne kippers or a lighter option including fruit juice, cereal, yogurt, toast, cheese and fruit. We use free range eggs and source locally produced products when available. Please notify us in advanced of any specific dietary requirements. We will do all possible to accommodate your request.
Arrochar is a picturesque village situated in the heart of Scotland's First National Park, A designated area of outstanding natural beauty; the family home is only 2 miles from Loch Lomond. Loch Lomond offers various activities such as water sports, golf, fishing and cruise trips. The nearby 'Loch Lomond Shores' offers an opportunity for those wishing to carry out some retail therapy.
Why not leave the car at Braemor for a day! Nearer to home there are fantastic mountain bike trails (Scotland is now one of the hottest places to ride in the world) and scenic walks at Ardgarten - north of Arrochar on the A83 (Inverary). For the more adventurous why not try the Cobbler or one of the many Munros (over 3000ft) that surround Braemor, or take the train from Arrochar station and travel on one of Scotland's most scenic train routes the west Highland Way and spend a relaxing, leisurely day in the historic west coast town of Oban.
